The 3 Best Sounds

My 3 favorite sounds most recently have been:

The giggles of my 5 month old little girl. She is such a happy baby and brings a smile to everyone's face. Her most recent giggles occur because of silly faces I make or Clayton dancing to music. (Or at least what he calls dancing..)

The words "I love you" coming from my loving son! A recent conversation went like this - Me: I love you, Clayton! Clayton: I love you, too, Mommy! Me: I love you, too, Clayton! Clayton: I love you, too, too, Mommy! ... It doesn't get much cuter!

And finally, "Hey guys, I'm home!" That would be the words coming from my dear husband after a long day of work. These words make everything better, because whatever trials or triumphs that have occurred that day can now be shared with him. And he always knows the right things to say to help or celebrate!

Maiden Voyage

Labor Day, we went on the lake. Since Maecie is only 5 months old, she had never been. So this was her getting ready to ride on the boat!

5 Months Old!

I think the second child gets big faster than the first. It's been 5 months since Maecie was born and she is growing, smiling, and keeping mom and dad happy! Clayton truly enjoys playing with her and trying to entertain her. Here is Maecie and all of her adorable rolls!

Argh, me Matey!

Back in May, I took Clayton to a Pirate Exhibit at a local museum. He had a BLAST and really enjoyed dressing up like a pirate, playing pirate games, and seeing the monkeys! It was a fun trip, yet Maecie was still so little, she just slept through the whole thing!

Searching for Monsters

Patrick bought these little flashlights to keep just in case our power goes out. It has happened before and all we had were candles. So we needed to be a bit more prepared!

Well, for Clayton, these were the perfect flashlights just for him! Somehow, he convinced his daddy to look for monsters after a long day at work. Hence the dirty clothes Patrick is wearing!
